A Variety Of Species!
We start at the crack of dawn and fish until the sun goes down (or until you can't cast anymore!) We will explore a variety of different spots in the area and ensure you catch that majestic Brown Trout or the acrobatic Rainbow Trout you've been craving! Collected from your accommodation and dropped off at the end of the day, you can truly focus on the fishing.
Hokkaido is home to various species, both native and none native. You'll find Rainbow Trout & Brown Trout which are none native but also native species like Iwana (White Spotted Char), Yamame (Cherry Trout) and Ugui (Japanese Dace). All keen to take a fly or a lure!
All Tackle included, Fly or Lure
We offer fly fishing and lure fishing and both work well throughout the year. We tend to use 4-5wt fly rods with floating line and 2g-10g lure rods on a variety of larger and smaller rivers. All fishing tackle is included in addition to waders.
Transfers Included
You will be collected from your accommodation or chosen collection point and dropped off at the end of the day! Don't worry about a thing - just be ready to go fishing!

Japanese Fishing Adventures is all about transparency! I am based in Niseko, but have extensive knowledge of wider Hokkaido. As such a minimum of two days is required to make driving across the island financially viable! Whether you're staying in Central Hokkaido, Hakodate or in East Hokkaido we can guide you!
