What You Need To Know
A Full Day Fishing!
We start from around 7:30am and fish until the sun goes down (or until you can't cast anymore!) We get you out of the city in to some majestic rivers that you won't forget in a hurry! Depending on the conditions we'll select the best area to fish and without doubt we'll get you on the fish! We only offer full day trips for this tour.
All Fishing Tackle & Waders Included!
We offer fly fishing and lure fishing and both work well throughout the year. Dry fly is our main focus but we will also nymph and streamer fish depending on the time of year. We tend to use 4-6wt fly rods with floating line and 2g-10g lure rods on a variety of larger and smaller rivers. All fishing tackle is included in addition to waders. (You are more than welcome to bring your own!)
So Many Species To Catch!
You can find a variety of species so close to Sapporo. You'll find Rainbow Trout & Brown Trout growing to huge sizes (Inexcess of 80cm!) You'll be able to find native species like Iwana & Amemasu (White Spotted Char), Yamame (Cherry Trout) and Ugui (Japanese Dace). All keen to take a fly or a lure!
Transfers & Transportation
You will be collected from Chitose or Otaru Station which are both a 40 minute train from Saporro. This allows us to get out of the city and into less populated areas for better fishing! After a days fishing you'll be dropped back off at the station or your desired location (within a 30km radius).

Our Recommendation
This trip is perfect for those having a quick trip to Hokkaido and want a quick taster of Hokkaido's amazing fishing! 1 day is suggested. If you want multiple days we suggest heading out from Sapporo into wider Hokkaido. However, we will happily guide multiple days from Sapporo if requested!
